On this Memorial Day weekend, my daughter-in-law Meg sent me an article from the Military Times on-line. It's about her great uncle Wayman Walker who served his country in Vietnam and was awarded the DSC. I thought I'd share it with you all, because war touches every American somehow, even a couple of generations later. Meg said "I've never seen a picture of him. What a brave guy." She never knew her uncle, but she said she wished she had. Click on this link to read the article.

Memorial Day 2011
Please take a few moments to remember our friends we lost so many years ago. And also take a moment to pray for our newest casualties of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Click here to watch my tribute to the men of the 225th Aviation Company (Surveillance Airplane). May we never forget them and their sacrifice.
